A Day in My Life with Rose

A Typical Day in My Life:

Wake up. Coffee. Pause. Meditate in Prayer. Breakfast. Emails. Write, write, write. Type, type, type. Writer’s block sometimes. Pause. Play with Andy. Cuddle. Back to looking through emails. Lunch. Chill and catchup time with Rose and Mom if home from work. Bond. Laughter. Back to work. More writing. Movement. Workout and sweat sesh. Shower. Netflix/Vlogs. Dinner. A glass of wine. Zoom/Facetime/Skype with friends. Read. Tuck Andy to bed. Pray. Sleep. Repeat.

A Lifetime with Rose:

An exuberance of sisterhood. A cacophony of sound when together. Energy of youth with music blasted in the background. Nonstop dancing and prancing. Sore all over because of our silly minds and nonstop laughter. Rose sees the humor in everything. Nothing is beyond repair when Rose is around.

Slow and thoughtful reflection during times of rest and stillness are equally invaluable and precious moments. Deep and emotionally-charged talks coupled with prayer and presence. Her aura and wisdom are beyond this world. She is a gift.

Soundboards to one another, my work and coffee buddy, Rose is my accountability partner. Cracking up or cheering up one another, we are truly sisters by the heart. Compassion is what she supplies me with on a daily basis. Leisure is an aspect of life she constantly reminds me of whenever I burn myself out. Wine O’Clock to end the day or week is perhaps one of my favorite pastimes with Rose!

Today, I am most grateful for Rose, most especially on a senti Sunday!
